An understanding of what makes an idea good.
An understanding that good enough is never good enough.
An understanding of the work that’s come before and why you should steal it.
An understanding of your own abilities and why you’ll always feel like an imposter.
An understanding of what it takes to win a Lion but not the affection of your parents.
An understanding of how this industry works. (Actually forget that one. No one has a clue.)
But most importantly, it’s an understanding that an 8-week course is a nosh and not a meal.
